To add some peat to the fire over Indianapolis 1070........

1950-1953 from Galva (NW) Iowa....these were heard

  WKOW-WI Madison
  CBA---NB  Sackville

1979-1984  on vacations from Galva, Iowa

  WAPI--AL  Birmingham
   KNX--CA  Los Angeles
  KILR--IA  Estherville
  KFDI--KS  Wichita
  KHMO-MO  Hannibal
  WDIA--TN  Memphis
  WTSO-WI- Madison

1957-2007  Sacramento & San Francisco CA

  WAPI--AL  Birmingham
  KNX---CA  Los Angeles
  WIBC--IN   Indianapolis
  KFDI---KS  Wichita
  KERR--MT  Polson
  CKST--AB  St. Albert
  CFAX--BC  Victoria
  CBA----NB  Sackville

WIBC  was heard the first time in the fifties shortly after 5a.m. CST.
Whether I heard it more than once I don't remember.

It was not heard during my vacation dx in the 80s.

It was heard from Sacto in 1968 after 4am PST back when frequencies were
open.  Probably on day pattern/power.
