Here's an update from Paul Walker, Jr. who helped to arrange this test (and
many others!) It looks like conditions were not favorable for this
summertime test---but never the less, it's still very much appreciated.
I've really enjoyed being the NRC/IRCA Broadcast Test Coordinator, and will
offer my full support for the new team. Glad to have helped to put a few
news ones in the logs. Best of DX to you all.
QSL's for both the recent tests, along with my final reports will be coming
in August.
73,
Les Rayburn, N1LF

Ladies and Gents..
I have CONFIRMED it with KXTO General Manager Jose Pacheco that the station
DID run at full power and ran the tone/sweep files as scheduled. Jose even
got up in the middle of the night to turn the transmitter up to full power.
I think we can probably chalk this up to bad conditions, as Les said..
"There's a reaosn we don't schedule many, if at all ANY tests.. during the
summer"
