Hi Group:

	Have noted WBGS-1030, Point Pleasant, WV, off for the past week &
still off today.  Over the past 12 years they have gone from c&w to gospel,
then, in their most recent incarnation, to conservative talk.  They've been
carrying Laura Ingram 9-noon, Rush noon-3, Hannity 3-6, and Fox Sports
before 9 a.m. after 6 p.m., and all weekend (except when they run their
regular weekend gospel shows.  They carried ABC nx on the hour.  They are
owned by a company that operates two non-commercial gospel FM's in Western
WV.  This is not their first period of extended silence.  They were off for
a week before they switched to talk.  The greater Huntington-Ashland market
must be a very tough one.  Many FM's and probably too many AMs.
