Do you have a UPS for your computer?  If so, shut it down, drag it out
there, and turn it back on.  Should gave at least 15 minutes of solder time.

Or, you could do what I did.  Buy an inverter for your work truck.  If the
truck can't make it out there, you could carry a battery in a wheelbarrow
and the inverter.  Plus, you ought to be able to write that off as a work
expense.  You should be able to get an inverter big enough to run your key
machine or an electric drill.  I bought a 750w unit for about $120 from
Grainger.  I'm sure you could do better from some place like Northern Tool.

Luddite technology would have a charcoal fire and a heavy copper iron you
heat in the fire.

Most common propane torches also have a copper tip that fastens to the end
of the torch.  That works pretty well, and gives probably a couple hundred
watt equivalent heat.  That would be the lightest and probably cheapest
alternative.
