    KOHI's disappearance here was actually a big  disappointment, as I had 
planned to check out the salt water effect on weak  signals (with KOHI a perfect 
test case).   In early May, KOHI was  barely audible near salt water on 
groundwave, but inaudible inland (5 miles from  Puget Sound).
 
    Now, all the salt water in the state can't seem to raise  KOHI from the 
below the noise level, and sunset skip can't even help.  It  may be time to 
perform the last rites...
