Thank you for the list. I deleted those that were too far away, in my
opinion, to cause a
carrier beat on 530.
WPGU846, Greenville, Pitt Co., East Carolina University is the dominant on
530 during
the daytime here. I use it as a "beacon," to check the integrity of an
antenna (aside
from the antenna's directivity). About S-5 at best.
At times, I observe three other carriers beneath WPGU846. I think one of
them is RVC-
530.
I used to hear a TIS on 1610 from New Bern near the overpass of NC-43 and
US-70.
Don't remember the call. Too late to check my old NC Log.
The other three COULD be possible.
(note 1) = Yes, IRCAers, the IS a town named DUCK in North Carolina! It's
in Dare Co.,
almost on the east coast, just a short distance south of the NC/VA border.
