Re: [IRCA] SP 600 /R390

Hi, Patrick. I have had numerous receivers over the years. At the moment, I have at my disposal a R-390A, Harris 590A, Rockwell-Collins HF-2050, AOR 7030+ and an Icom 756 Pro2. All are fine receivers, but my favourite is the 7030+ for exactly the reason you state....the ease of use and all of the bells and whistles available. Yes the 390A is a fantastic receiver, but go try to look for // frequencies, etc. No notch, etc, either. I'm looking forward to getting my SDR-IQ in the near future as well. Who knows, perhaps a WinRadio 313e will be there in the future as well. The hobby has changed with the advent of spectrum displays, etc as well! ...Walt.
