To understand 1.6gal terlets, one must first master Algorethmetic. 
'Techno-czar' who solemnly intoned - with straight face - 'shortwave data rate too 
slow', foisted many fine innovations upon us. This was to our great benefit and 
modest, surely, profit of cronies.
 
1.6 gal terlets use 1/3 water as conventional models. By applying 
Algorethmetic, though twenty flushes are required to achieve results of 5 gallon 
conventional terlet, 20 x Dsw = 1/3. In short, twenty flushes multiplied by Dsw 
(Shortwave Data Rate), still yields water usage of only one third that of 
conventional toilets.
