My dad was a CPO in the USN. He listened to Conover whenever he could. Dad
said his voice was as smooth as good booze. A pity that many of today's
DXers and listeners never had the chance to hear him and the music he
played. And Kevin, you are quite right, he played exceptionally good music.
I wonder if a book has been published about him.
