Yes, I got a QSL from KISD and KWBD both. I remember KSWB leaving their
old 1 KW rig on 24/7 when a daytimer on 930, but only the exiter, as the
carrier signal was quite weak at night. You would only hear it a few
miles from the tx. KSWB tx is surrounded  by water in a swampy area in
the Winter, so the same reason might play here.
