The carrier on 1134 was interesting as I have a local less than 1 mile way on 1130.

Hmmm. I monitored between 13:37 and 14:30 UTC and found things pretty lackluster. The upper band was pretty dead. Plenty of weak carriers, but only 1566 had audio. The lower half of the band was better with audio on 738, 747, 774, 783, 828 (the best of the lot with NHK2), 873, 936, 963, 972, and 1008. Most of them were NHK2, but 936 was playing oldies, so I wonder whether this was 4PB. Peaked around 14:00 and rapidly deteriorated after that. I'm always fascinated how entirely different Bill's conditions are compared to ours on the coast. ....Walt Salmaniw, Victoria
