Wait until the trouble comes from Yankees fans in New Jersey.  They'll be
tuned to WCBS, of course.  They'll get the hash from WLS and, probably, WWL,
making the game unlistenable on WCBS in Jersey (and the rest of the night
time coverage area that WCBS previously enjoyed).  This may be a challenge
for every station carrying baseball in America before it's over.  Wonder how
the Jays' network will have to adapt and overcome the hiss and hash?

Glenn Hauser used to bemoan sports on the radio, but it will be a factor in
making clear how this digital disservice trashes the radio.  

This has all the makings of a good fight.  Bring popcorn; come early for the
best seats.  Carry a towel; those in the first five rows may get splattered.

And doesn't this exoise TeamBLOC's palpable dishonesty? On one hand they
blat 
interminable exhortations re 'we must do more to get the HD message out' .
 
But they don't. 
 
Like suspects, they dummy up. Yeah, they coerce engineers into silence & 
strong-arm station owners. But they've yet to tell listeners that they plan
to 
plunder their airwaves.
 
Do you know of any person or company that keeps customers - in this case, 
listeners - completely in the dark about a great new product or service? 

I don't.
 
If TeamBLOC doesn't intend to seize public airwaves by stealth, then how 
would they do it?
