[IRCA] Help needed with an UnID

Good evening every one:

I'm in need of a little help with a station I had in briefly last night on 1480. The calls sounded like WNBC or WNEZ. Now I know WNBC is a TV station in NY and WNEZ is listed as a daytimer on 1480 in CT so I dunno who I had. Searching the internet gives very conflicting information. So hence my need for some help. I didn't hear very much but it went something like what follows.

Tuned in to a talk show. The main speaker sounded very much like Larry King, tho I never heard his name mentioned. The show finished up just before TOH and then I heard this: "Where you can hear Cat Basketball" --?-- and then something about "on the way" --?-- " we have every way of interfacing for sports. 1480 WNBC" (or WNEZ) --?-- --?-- (the town or city mentioned was just 2 syllables) "member of the Next (?) media family station." And then into ABC News. Then it faded down and was replaced by KBMS. I've been over the tape at least a dozen times but I'm unable to get any more.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
