I'm sure they have something at UT or Vandy. But then again, it is TN we're 
talking about here. Perhaps your taste in BBQ might have something to do 
with that. Anyway...

I'm using DXTUNERS.COM at the moment for my listening. The radio room is 
being used as a laundry room for the time being. I think we're going to 
finish the basement this summer so I shouldn't have this problem again. I 
guess with all of my HAM stuff down there, I might as well move the DRAKE 
down there too. However, I have to buy some HAM stuff first. A radio, an 
antenna, some drywall, paint and wiring...who knew HAM Radio could be so 
expensive?!?!?

Hi Bert-

By the time we had moon rise here, 3/4 of the eclipse was over. The weather
has fine all day, few to no clouds, clear to the horizon. But I just in the
wrong place for any type of sky observing.

Perhaps this is the reason that there are no major observatories in
Tennessee.
