It seems hard to catch the peaks these mornings, as they only last a
few minutes, but can be quite good. Had you stopped listening by
1500UT, Dennis? The low band Japanese came up quite nicely then
for a short time here, then were gone by the end of the NHK2 s/off.
The propagation monitor says the real peak was around 1100UT this
morning, but I need to sleep sometime!
And as you say, the top of the band was pretty dead.

TA's are their "usual" half hearted selves this evening. 1215 is the
best carrier (2 of 'em again, usual 3 Hz apart with a SAH); 1134,
1206 and 1341 only others weakly audible, but quite a few "visible"
with Spectran....what about the 4 carriers on 1584 for
example? Once could waste quite a lot of time speculating on all
those minimal carriers.
best wishes,
Nick
