[IRCA] Corrections to WFIF 1500khz Milford, CT Maintenance Test

With apologies (again), I need to correct some errors in my announcement
about the upcoming WFIF
Maintenance Test.

Willie Barnett, Chief Engineer sent along these corrections:
===================================================

"WFIF is 5KW DIRECTIONAL. The pattern has two deep nulls. One to the south
and
slightly west, protecting WTWP in Washington, DC. The other falls across the
middle/western portion of Long Island. (That is only because our pattern is
symmetrical. That null is not protecting anyone.) The pattern is easily
viewable
on
www.radio-locator.com

May the conditions favor your reception as we conduct this brief test of our
remote control systems! :)"
=====================================================

Thanks again to Willie for letting us know about the maintenance period.
Several DX'ers have
asked about software to display the spectrograph. In addition to Cool Edit
(Audition) that
we mentioned, another good (Freeware) software to consider is "Spectran",
which can
be downloaded at:
