*** Oh well, live and learn I guess. I never figured out why an LA
garage-rock band - the Standells - recorded "Dirty Water", which is all
about Boston either.

Speaking of Northwest bands, although this goes way back, I was also
somewhat partial at a somewhat obscure group outside of the NW  - the Sonics.
