Bruce,
The half of the year that I DX in Washington state, My antennas are
20 unobstructed sea miles or less from all of the Vancouver 50 kw
flamethrowers. Using a 100 x 20 KAZ antenna, I had no problems at
all. With a 65' x 100' EWE pointed nearly at the Vancouver stations
this summer, I had overloads, primarily from 650 CISL (over S-9+50
dB.) The 313 has an 18 db attenuator that totally solved that and
still allowed very weak DX through. I don't think that the 303 has
the attenuator.
