Can't say that's the case here yet, though things are definitely 
better on the upper portion of the band....lots of carriers, but not 
much audio yet....NHK1 on 1503 probably the best, though it had faded 
down by 1500UT so just heard the pips.

Another quick visit to the dials around 1530UT, and very little below 
1300kHz, but above, audio on such as 1359, 1386,1422, 1475 (very 
weak; huge carrier), 1503, 1521, 1557, 1566, 1575 and 1593.  Probably 
1584 too if one could get past the hum.
