[IRCA] KZIZ-1560 OMENS

I thought for sure they had started nighttime operation while driving
home at 6:15 PDT the other night but they dutifully went off at 6:30.
However, they were frequently mincemeated by KNZR, presumably while
on 3300w ND during CH. About 6:30 this morning, I could easily loop
them out in favor of KNZR. Now the bad news in all this is the fact
that they obviously have installed new transmitting equipment because
the splatter on 1550 and 1570 is something else. What's interesting
is that the audio level on their basic frequency seems down some from
before. I can't tell if they have IBOC because there is so much of
their audio in the splatter. On 840 and 860, surrounding KHHO, the
IBOC byproduct is pretty much straight white noise. Whatever the
situation, it looks like goodbye HLAZ.

PS - I just sent a CD to HLAZ in Jeju, home of some of the current
anti-American riots.
