Just listened to the overnight recordings, and I came up empty here. Well,
maybe not quite empty - I did hear a few snatches of what sounded like code
just after 0241 EDT. Not enough to be conclusive, but it would be
interesting to know whether code was being sent at that particular time
(between 0041 and 0042 MDT).
This was a long shot at best - the GY channels are much more densely populated
in the east, and there are probably over a hundred stations on 1240 closer to
me than KEVA. Conditions were also just so-so. I did hear a few stations to
the west, including WCBY in MI, and WHFA and WJMC in WI, but that's still not
even halfway to WY. :-) Fun to try, anyway!
