  They're about 800 miles away.  When they left it on one night, they decimated 1180 and severely cut into local 1200.  Tis gonna be bad juju when the FCC allows the AM band to become a free-for-all.

Definitive "yes" on KEX - saw the gear at the transmitter site and heard 
it on the air after the convention. Their audio on HD sounded pretty 
good, too, at least when it wasn't dropping out (and this was right in 
the center of Portland, near the KATU-TV studios just east of the 
Burnside Bridge!)
