Bob Foxworth mentioned J&R Music World's $50 rebate on the Boston
Acoustics HD Receptor table radio, and added "Who would have thought a
rebate was needed? I thought these things were flying off the shelves."

WHOSE shelves??  J&R (which does big mail-order/Web business of course,
but whose only brick-and-mortar stores are in NYC) is about the only
retailer in the nation that so far has bothered to stock the damn
things.  Ever try to find an HD radio at Circuit City or Best Buy?  Or
Wal-Mart?
