Re: [IRCA] 2006 IRCA Convention

Having returned from our 2 week holiday on Sunday, and then having the
job take me out of town again I'm only just getting back to the computer
and the radio. I'd like to add my belated thanks to all responsible for
a great convention, in particular to Patrick for his work in arranging
the convention, and to John and Guy for coming up with the idea for some
presentations. It was great to meet many that have only been names to
me in the past, and others that I hadn't seen in years..
This morning was my first listening session in quite a while, and I
was glad to see we're still enjoying some good reception. The Japanese
powerhouses were in very well, but other frequencies yielding audio
included 1098,1179,1197,1287, of which I'd only ever heard Asian audio
on 1287 previously. The 1098 puzzled me, as I was hearing what seemed
to be an interview in English around 1330. There wasn't a trace of DU
stuff, so any suggestions on what that was would be most welcome!.
