[IRCA] No HD for KCMD 970

Hello,

Last month new neighbors from Illinois moved in next door.  I noticed the man drove a Chevy Blazer with CBS Radio decaled on both sides.  My wife and I went over to their home to introduce ourselves.  It turns out he's the electrical engineer for CBS radio in Portland.  CBS has 5 radio stations in the Portland market -- 4 FM and 1 AM KCMD Solid State Radio 970.  Our neighbor, Brian, said CBS is in the process of installing 4 HD transmitters to its FM stations.  He said AM KCMD would not go HD since the FCC limits daytime hours for HD AM, as you all know.
