Congrats!  I'm in the same boat, I guess.  I started DXing in 1976 while living in Idaho but concentrated on SW more than AM DX for most of that time.  I've gone back to AM over the last two years and am up to 456 total AM stations, so I'm quite a bit behind you.  :D

Oddly enough # 999 was also a Cuban....on 530 Khz. Wasn't expecting Cuba to 
put me over the 1,000 Mark...but you take 'em as you find 'em I guess!!

Should have been here a Long Time ago.....but Long layoffs from AM BCB to 
delve into Short Wave and FM/TV DX kept the Milestone from occurring. I 
have over 1600 Stations on FM and almost 500 TV Stations as well. Thousands 
of Shortwavers too.....

So....Now on to the next 1,000...I hope I live long enough...if I do it at 
the same rate..I'll be 80 Years old when that occurs!! HAHHAHA....Good luck 
says the Diabetic Boy!!
