I'm another user of Tonne Software's BCMap and PIZZA. PIZZA is an excellent 
map program that makes a map centered on your location so you can see 
bearings to the rest of the world. I can even add my antenna patterns to the 
plot to see what areas are going to be received well. Quite easy, and quite 
nice.

BCMap is equally nice and easy to use. Plus, it's free and electronic which 
makes me happy as the less stuff I have to cart around on DXpeditions, the 
better. No more paper pattern books for me.
