[IRCA] DVR-111D

Hi Bill,

I got the new Pioneer DVR 111D today and I got it installed in the
computer in only 10-15 minutes. It was a piece of cake. I did have to
remove the hard drive and move it over to the side. I then took out 4
screws, 2 on each side and it slid right out. Popped the new one in and
I was ready to go in a few minutes. I tried it out and the new drive is
so smooth. I copied a DVD and no glitches or anything. It made a perfect
copy. I think Brenda had run the old one a lot and wore it out. The new
one from Egg was only $40 and it will handle a lot different types of
media the older one wouldn't anyway. So I am quite pleased. You are
right, changing things around in the computer is pretty easy. Even
changing out the hard drive looks easy to do. Except in that case, you
would have to reload everything which takes time. But it was sure easy
to change out the DVD Drive though.
