Re: [IRCA] DX TIP FOR WDXR

I still hunt for the R.Colorado on 610 from Vail and it is one of few westerly stations at that distance with 5 KW or more days ND that I still need. KCSP in K.C. is simply too strong normally here, although Chadron NE gets thru sometimes. 1580 from Col. Springs comes in sometimes, but not as common nor as well as I'd think, although nothing from Col. Springs seems as good as I'd expect here, based on how well Denver area stuff is rxed.

1040 KCBR can background WHO on very good Colorado sunset skip nights. Perhaps sometimes they forget to cut to critical hour power.

Pat,

Radio Colorado has a pretty colorful website, even have coverage maps for the various stations on it.  They definitely get out well as they have been pretty regulat in the predawn, while I'm still hunting for 1040 KCBR.  The 2 am reception is new.  Usually Calgary dominates.

KCBS IBOC is still AWOL.
