             If they still have them get the FCC ID number off the
back. Look it up at fcc.gov & it will tell you who built the
Envision & its model number. You will probable find
most monitors are made by a hand full of Chinees  Co's
              Also consider an extended warranty. I NEVER used to
recomend
them but things have changed.  If anything goes bad its usualy the end.
The separate power supply can be fixed if its not sealed but
not much can be done to the monitor. I dont know
anyone changing 240 pin surface mount IC's !!!
Also we are hitting a lot of BIG name top-o-line TV's that parts
are no longer avaliable at 3 years. Usualy IC's.  The last ones
were 5 yrs old  36" needed an audio procesor IC & on a
3 yrs old 32" the IC that switches inputs.  Both are junk now. 
I wont mention brands because it seems to be across the board.
               I dont get involved in monitors anymore but price
out a Sony it probably is worth the extra $$  Their  LCD TV's are 
almost as good as a jug set.
