Nice cx to W and NW directions tonite, but has died down now. Quite early
reception of KOMO 1000 for mid month thru phased WMVP with "KOMO 1000 News
Time 5:50 ".Also a nice long area ad string on KXLX with =/u phased WLW
around 1938 CST. KMAX in at 1932 u/phased WHAS 840 with a meant of Mariners
coverage during a break in talk show. Rlg noted weak on 810 with WGY phased
1955 and a couple KTBI ID's caught 1959 in mess.
Very high winds here..actually blew one of my BOGs about 5 feet but I
straightened it. Big signals from back end tonite on my previously well
terminated shorter BOG, it is connected to termination resistor but I think
the recents big lightening storms may have fried the resistor. The made
eastern stuff harder to phase deeply to hear western stuff.
On 860..KMVP AZ noted in mess with CJBC phased out with a 602 area code
phone numbers during a break from a local sports show.
Good to east as well with WPRX 1120 in decently o/u KMOX phase null with
Latin mx.
The big news is that for some reason more than 3/4 of my power line noise is
gone as verified by driving around. I hope this is permanent as I can more
easily listen for the station under the station under the station with pests
phased out. Also I can now BOGs at previously noisy lines and DX from more
directions.
