KNOM plays all sorts of music (rock, country, etc). I heard them last
year running Casey Casem, and have a 1970s aircheck of them playing the
Rolling Stones (among other things). They're owned by a Catholic group
(the Fairbanks Diocese, I believe). Being in such an isolated area,
they probably want to cater to audience interests, though from what
I've heard they leave out music that deals with violence, sex, drugs,
and other stuff that would be inconsistent with their basic mission. Bruce Doug Pifer - KE6GMM wrote: Doe's, is KNOM playing country music??????? I'm hearing Shania Twain.
