Bob,
It seems like the opposite is true for me even though I'm alot closer.  KDZR 
hasn't been completely in the clear for me yet and is sometimes not 
discernable at all with KDIA very dominant at times.  The swing in reception 
is quite large.   KKPZ is relatively consistant.
