For those who waited with bated breath for my power pack longevity
results...here they are!
Running the R30 with normal volume last night until I gave up and then
starting again this morning, the total time for the power pack indicator to
go into the red -- beyond which it is cautioned could damage the pack
-- and with the R30 still functioning completely normally, was right at
twelve and one-half hours.
Based on how long it took the pack to transition through the two previous
level indicator steps, I would guess the radio would likely have continued
to perform adequately for a few more hours, if necessary.
