With all this talk about the Wobbler, I figured I ought to at least give a
listen for it since I didn't see any mention of LA...so, for what it's worth -
I was able to hear the Wobbler on 1100 kHz here in Lafayette (30 13 N, 92 1 W)
this evening around 0114 on a '98 Nissan Quest radio. Sounded like either a
dismal attempt at playing a record or something out of the Twilight Zone. With
a male voice in rapid-fire SS behind it. The signal faded a couple times, but I
could always hear it as long as I drove due east (unfortunately for me, the
grocery store is a bit north of me).
