[IRCA] Marine battery

Doug,

 

I ran some CB  equipment off of a 12 volt marine battery.  The battery weight 65 lbs.  I originally used it

with my electric boat motor, it worked quite well.  I was going to purchase a battery to use for camping and to

power the JRC.  Ham Outlet carries some batteries,  some of those cost about $165.00 each. The marine

battery was about $70.00 at Sears.  But that was 15 years ago.
