Hi Dennis,
I can probably give credit to Dave in Redmond for
getting me to think about this as I drew up a "W" list of what I heard since
moving here in 1996. I should have posted it first.
Anyways, it got me thinking, hi. My list
isn't too bad considering. (I guess)... Other stations I suppose I would wonder
about would be WCBS, WNBC. Maybe 640 WWLS (Not high power, but I caught
this years ago in So. Cal), 1140 WRVA, 670 WSCR- (ex WMAQ)-- Dave had this one
in recently thru KBOI, and then WSB 750. Others I should
consider????
I have WWL marked down at about once per year. It's
definitely less common for me than it was even just a few years back. A
few of the ones below I've caught fairly recently. WSM, WBBM (local was off),
KDKA and WHAM- those in the last month or two.
I know what you mean about the good 'ol days. I got
a Radio West loop not long after I started DXing in the late 70's and it did
well up to a few years ago when I got the Kiwa.
73- Doug
Here's what I've got:
650 WSM 660 WFAN 700 WLW 720 WGN 760 WJR 780 WBBM 820 WBAP 830 WCCO 840 WHAS 870 WWL 890 WLS 1020 KDKA- ok so it's not a "W",
hi. 1040 WHO 1100 WTAM 1130 WISN test 1180 WHAM 1200 WOAI 1420 WRCG test 1670 WNML- was on
