Send the picture again if you will and I'll ask what wires go where too. I'm
curious...

>>On another note, tell me all about the other stuff pictured in your
photograph. what all do you have there? What's feeding what and so on...

My primary rx is a Drake R8B, the one that Anna is sitting on. I use a
Palstar R30CC as my secondary rx. I interface these to an IBM Thinkpad
using the line audio out of both rx. I plug right into the mic input of the
sound card and record using Total Recorder. I have two Quantum Phasers, one
of which is extensively used. The other is a backup in case the first wears
out. (I do use the Phaser heavily!!)

My antennas are as follows:

Antenna #1:
MFJ-1024 vertical 54" whip
which has been elevated to ~19'
using two Radio Shack antenna
mounting poles. Occasionally
used as a stand alone antenna.
Mostly used as a phase antenna
in conjunction with the below
indicated long wires.

Antenna #2:
~150' long wire (12 gauge
insulated copper wire from Home
Depot) sloping down (~18' peak
height) towards the NNE at an
~24 degree bearing (true).
Attached to an ICE Model 182A
matching transformer.

Antenna #3:
~160' long wire (12 gauge
insulated copper wire from Home
Depot) sloping down (~18' peak
height) towards the E at an ~94
degree bearing (true). Attached
to an ICE Model 182A matching
transformer.

Antenna #4:
Radio Plus+ Quantum QX Pro
Loop. Occasionally used as a
stand alone antenna or as a
phase antenna in conjunction
with the above indicated long
wires. Also destined to be used
on mobile DXpeditions (like to
the beach!).

Once the weather gets a bit
warmer and the swamp behind my
property dries out, I hope to
lay a few BOGs, ideally a pair
suitably separated but oriented
in the same direction and of
different lengths so that I can
phase them. I also have
everything I need to put up a
15' x 45' x 15' EWE which I
hope to do after I complete my
ham studies this spring.

If you'd like any additional
information, please contact me
off-line.
