Re: [IRCA] Oh yeah? Poll on satellite radio acceptance.

Karl,

You have to remind me this is the digital age. Gee, it makes me feel
old. Bring back the 3 foot tubes for transmitters. hi. Seriously, I find
most CEs today like the digital age as the transmitters and other
equipment takes a lot less maintenance.
I moved into the digital age with satellite TV some years ago. I still
have my analog stuff, but have added several receivers of digital, 4DTV,
DVB, Dish, etc. I must admit that there is a lot more up there with
digital than there was with analog.
Radio included. It is cool to beable to listen to a station completely
local at thousands of miles away. Too bad I can't get a licence to
broadcast a satellite radio service with enough power to cover Clatsop
County. Then I would not have to record the stuff on cassette to play in
the van. I have a 97 Dodge Carivan and it has cassette rather than CD.
