Re: [IRCA] Oh yeah? Poll on satellite radio acceptance.

What intersts me and I know we are going quasi off topic here with this
thread, is that Direct TV and XM have partnered, and the bill which ran me
$49.99 for a nice satellite TV package went up $5 a month; the reason this
upsets me is, no one asked the subscribers if XM was wanted. Okay only $5
but thats $60 for a year to a service I do not listen to; I do have a
question as to SIRIUS: about a year back I took the online 'test drive' of
the music channels, primarily the 70s channel. Not bad stuff music wise, but
after each and every song I was reminded that I was 'tuned to commercial
free SIRIUS radio'.. Does that only occur via the 'test drive'? Because if
not, self promoting is a commercial in my book.
