Not that WOOD is rare in these parts, but at 0845
CST 12-9-05 one of their morning announcers gave their slogan "Newsradio Wood
1300" and then added "we play less music than any other station." About 10
minutes later the two announcers were commenting on all the angry phone calls
they were receiving. Listeners felt WOOD should play more
music--especially Christmas music at this time of year. As far as I know, WOOD
does not play any music. The announcer said everyone should "chill
out."
