KABN is only a figment (or is that pigment?) of your imagination.  No
such thing (only an idea in someone's head).  Driving thru Concord it
can not be heard.  I guess the owner is keeping the license alive for
some purpose or the other.  It is definitely 'silent'.  Since it's
pattern is directed right at me, I'm OK with the silent bit.

I'm wondering the status on a couple other Northern California stations
as well.  Redding on 1330 and the Shasta station on 1460/1450.  Neither
is being heard down here so am guessing they are not on the air either.
I remember previous Redding stations on 1330 powered in here at sunset.
