Early DX noted (12/6) while returning home from
base. Nothing major, but it is a bit early (based on past experiences):
1630 KCJJ IA, Iowa City noted @ 1540 ELT
w/numerous local spots, ID, and announcement
regarding local Holiday events
upcoming. Fair level, flutter fade and no QRM.
1670 UNID in/out with M country vocal music @
1520-1528 t/o. Poor to occasionally fair quality,
mainly from fading. but definitely music.
Normally, WMWR - Dry Branch, GA occupies the frequency.
1680 WDSS(p) MI, Ada @ 1530 ELT presumed the
one with pop mx, and enough Radio Disney "IDs" to
fill a Christmas stocking. Fair to poor with
more fading than later observed with KCJJ.
Could be an interesting evening. Mike
