Nick is certainly correct that the Asians were going nuts this morning. A single 5" Frequent Flyer FSL (with the dramatically improved variable cap) was used at the local noise-free park to receive S9+ signals from 603-HLSA, 639-CNR1, 657-Pyongyang and 738-BEL2, along with good signals from 756-CNR1, 963-CRI and 1017-CRI. A fair signal from 1044-CRI was also tracked down, as well as many Asian co-channels with the Korean and Chinese big guns. A wild and wacky propagation bonanza! Full details to follow, but here are a couple of samples on the tiny 5" antenna
603 HLSA Hwaseong, S. Korea Korean pop music at S9+ level (along with Chinese co-channel in between speech) at 1418 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/iu1w0v8vt9ml7xl0rk6qwer6tmzz7idc
738 BEL2 Penghu, Taiwan Chinese female speech at S9+ level (along with weak Korean co-channel) at 1424 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/xiztany04c4qnquo452pq5ch2oskrl6q
