[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-10

Thanks to Colin, Nick and Bruce for their earlier reports. A predawn band check at 1240 showed fairly decent conditions here, so to avoid local electrical noise a single 15" FSL antenna and hot-rodded Ultralight was once again taken 5 blocks away to a local park. The band was fairly subdued until around 1400, when low band signals on 558, 594, 603, 657, 693, 738, 747 and 828 suddenly kicked into a higher gear. A pretty wild snarl broke out on 738 between HLKG and BEL2 right after the 1400 TOH, with the Korean managing its best ever signal here (S9) at 1407. BEL2's Mandarin speaking female was dominant before and after, though, and was the final survivor around 1420.

The Japanese low band big guns on 594, 693 and 747 were also out in force, while 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang demonstrated their typical strength at times. With the exception of 738-BEL2 the low band Chinese seemed to have missed out in the party, though, with only a trace of 603 and 657 showing up under the Korean regulars. The high band seemed to be anemic at best. Overall it was a decent session worth the short trip, primarily because of 738-HLKG's overachieving signal.

603 HLSA Namyang, S. Korea At first I thought that this potent mix of voices was a sign of 603-China, but it was only a new type of Korean rap music :-) Reaching S9 during peaks around 1405 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/aip5h89sd26vh6mbb5hxcrezaq2pjsy0

657 Pyongyang BS Following Colin's instructions, I didn't listen too much to this bizarre female vocal music, unlike anything else from across the Pacific (at 1356) https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/tis9gjj9rq34xfc1a2nzljzrtyqrkgga

738 HLKG Daegu, S. Korea With its best performance ever here, the KBS overachiever pushes BEL2 aside to reach an S9 level at 1407 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/oqtjtw4q5gd5n7ljqby77jdx7261omjp

738 BEL2 Penghu, Taiwan Dominant on 738 for much of the morning, it never managed a huge signal like HLKG did in the above recording. It was in and out of the KCBS splatter prior to 1350, and fighting it out with HLKG thereafter. It was the final 738 survivor at 1417, though https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/mrb53lh8s7f4sjvv9s5fexwu534fbbpw
