[IRCA] TP 4 Sep Victoria version.
And, back to Asians, despite some K=3; a few DUs closer to sunrise. Fading was quite erratic on the Asians, so peaks in signal strength were rapid, as were the valleys. Seemed to be a fair bit of splatter this morning also.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):
612 4QR man in DU English 1324UT, used as parallel for several others
774 JOUB English lessons 1257UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese, piano music
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
828 JOBB English lessons 1249UT
972 HLCA woman in Korean 1313UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1303UT
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1230UT, soon faded
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)
567 JOIK woman talking //594 1305UT, someone else there also
693 JOAB man talking 1236UT //774
738 2NR man talking //612 1327UT
774 3LO man talking //612 o/JOUB by now 1326UT
855 4QO/4QB man talking //612brief fade up 1324UT
873 JOGB English lessons 1238UT //774
891 5AN man talking 1329UT, but by 1330UT, only hints of ABC fanfare
954 woman talking, Japanese intonation, man on phone1308UT
1017 woman talking, island language? 1249UT
1134 man and woman talking, a bit laid back for JOQR? 1309UT
1242 man talking Japanese intonation 1307UT
1287 woman talking, Japanese intonation 1303UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)
864 891 963 1143 1323 1422 seemed to be Asian;
531 675 1098 1503 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
