FWIW,
I have been using a Wellbrook ALA 1530ln feeding into a Quantum Phaser for several years. The Quantum Phaser amp quiet and provides a nice signal boost in addition to the Wellbrook amp that came with the ALA 1530ln. The Wellbrook loop is located indoors in my shack. With favorable propagation, the Wellbrook has acquitted itself nicely with LW TA, as well as TP reception from the TA and TP DXing hinterlands in CO. I did an informal side by side comparison between the Wellbrook loop (placed outdoors for the test) and my corner fed NW loop and found TP reception to be fairly comparable. JOUB - 774, JOIB - 747, JOBB - 828 and HLAZ - 1566 were in that morning as I recall. I fed both the Wellbrook loop and the corner fed loop through the Quantum Phaser for the test.

In addition to the loops already mentioned, there's the MFJ 1888
broadband amplified loop. I bought one some time back mainly just to see
how well it worked at LF, which is my primary use for receive-only
amplified loops. The MFJ loop does not work at LF despite the
typographical claim in the ads in QST magazine claiming "reception to 50
kHz" operation. In fact it loses gain even at the lower part of the AMBC
band. It works OK at HF though still has less gain than the Wellbrook.Â
Note too the W6LVP broadband amplified loop does not work at LF either,
despite their claims, compared to the Wellbrook and RF Pro loops.
