After my stay on the Kona Coast, I spent a few days on the Hamakua Coast on the northeast side of Hawaii. To my dismay, there was a major source of power line QRM to the southwest of the rental home I stayed in. That QRM seemed to negate TP reception from Latin America. West coast US domestics were plentiful, along with some surprising midwest loggings. I was accompanied by the outstanding DeBock Turbocharged Tecsun PL-380 and 5 inch Frequent Flyer FSL.
