[IRCA] TP 23 Jun Victoria version

Good morning to be on the coast. Lots of higher band DU carriers, many oddballs, and with traces of audio as well.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not at all

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

nyet

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

unfortunately, no

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

774 man talking, DU English intonation 1144UT

1017 island choral music 1140UT; Tonga?

1224 man talking DU English intonation, sounded like sports announcement, in for about 20 seconds 1144UT; TAB horse racing?

1503 man talking, DU English intonation 1145UT

1575 man talking, DU English intonation 1201UT "....news"

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

1287  seemed to be Asian;
702 846 864 882 891 909 1098 1116 1215 1278 1296  1314 1323 1368 1377 1458 1467   1557  1584.025    1593 1629 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
