[IRCA] 657-AIR (Kolkuta) Received During Cook Islands DXpedition

It turns out that the wild and wacky Cook Islands propagation provided a reception of India after all-- 657-AIR (200 kW in Kolkuta, close to the Bangladesh border). It is the third station in this 657 MP3 at 1641 UTC on April 12th, peaking with female speech in Bengali from 37 to 50 seconds (thanks to Alokesh Gupta for language and station identification).

The other two stations on the MP3 are Pyongyang BS (with female vocal music) and NZ's Star Network (with an Irish-accented preacher) https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/ix71clk446ad5d5bkzbn3e0q94fe18wu (the isolation of Star around the 55 second point was made by the Ultralight's loopstick, not propagation). After reception of India, Bangladesh, Mongolia and Cambodia with simple Ultralight gear, the Cook Islands may gain a reputation of being DX paradise!

73 and Good DX,

Gary DeBock (DXing in Aitutaki, Cook Islands with a Hot-rodded Ultralight and an overachieving 5 inch Frequent Flyer FSL antenna)
